| Nothing is better than consulting with your health care provider when you start a new exercise program. There are several factors however. Exercise helps keep our bodies free of toxins that collect. It keeps the blood oxygenated also. You may be a "morning" person. They tend to be early risers and early to bed. "Night" people tend to be the opposite and rise late and are able to stay up later. Plenty of exercise is good. Daily cardio exercise is fine if you have checked first with your health care giver. Core exercise on the other hand should be done only about 3 days a week with at least one day in between to allow time for your muscles to heal. Exercise is very often prescribed by doctors for patients who are depressed, have joint problems, cardiac problems and general health and/or weight problems. When you feel sleepy during the day take a "power nap". This is a period of about 20 to 30 minutes where you just sit and relax and snooze. It re energizes you to continue on with your day. The evening sleepiness could be from your system digesting food. Most important of all don't forget your medical provider they are the best to get advice from. |
