well i want to lose about 25 pounds by march. which is like 2 months away.well kinda. but my dad says that when i ran he said i ran about 1 and 1/3 a mile. and of course he said that i should get running shoes instead of flip flops. but he said you burn more calories when you run with flip flops on because you use your toe or muscles to pick up the shoe and what not. but i run this 1 and 1/3 of a mile not by going flat by going down a long hill, walking straight for a little bit than running up hill than down hill again. and i try to burn as much carbs off as i can and whatever is not good for me. i stay away from chips, ice cream, cake, cookies, anything with high fats and especially soda. i havn't drank soda in about 3 months. but 3 months ago i just had like a sip or two it counts a little i guess. but running a mile down hill, straight, up hill, than down hill and staying away from that stuff is that healthy? and will it help me lose at least 25 pounds by march if i do this everyday?just ignore that flip flop issue. ill use a closedshoe like a tennis shoe or something. but i just need to lose like 25 pounds by swim season.

when one runs they should run with a closed shoe, tennis or running shoes. if one runs with flip flops, one can fall or injure your ankle or foot. when running always take some water for you to drink. eat lean meats lots of veggies and fruits, and brown rice or wheat pasta. drink milk , peanuts , popcorn for snacks... when running try to find some stairs, running up and down them if good to burn calories. if you run on local streets be carefull and if you plan to run a track at school or someplace that no one is around, take a couple friends with you. not safe to be alone in isolated placed...

Running in flip flops does not burn more calories. It only increases your chance of injury (I'm a runner and I'm almost-elite who runs 7+ miles a day) I'd say get good running shoes.

seek help from a weight loss specialist ... you wont loose 25lb in 2 months without hurting your organs ... but a specialist can show you the best way .... cause running in flip flops definately doesnt work ... you'll just end up with crows feet (sore curled up toes)

well i dunno about running wiht flip flops but unless your not eating vegetables and fruit and things consired healhty you could get into problems later.if you don't eat or eat a lil bit once or twice a day that could not be healthy because you are not eating the energy you need

I didn't really understand all that but if you are doing running you need to wear proper running shoes which will support and cushion your feet and help prevent injury. As long as you are burning more calories than you are eating you will lose weight.Running up and down a hill may be good exercise but it is not much fun, try and plan some activities you enjoy like swimming or playing tennis with a friend, this will help to keep you motivated.
