| I have been on weight watchers for 8 months and already lost 30 pounds. I plan to lose another 30 pounds to get to my goal weight. I am wanting to get on birth control but I am scared I will start gaining weight. Will birth control make me gain weight? |

| Not unless you start eating more. Calories make you gain weight, not medications. |

| There's really no way to know, in some women it makes them gain weight and others can lose weight. It all depends on how the hormones effect your body. Don't be too worried about it though, if you are eating right and exercising it shouldn't have a negative effect on you. |

| You might gain like max 5 lbs of water weight. I went on them & didn't gain a lb so, but my roommate went on them & gained like 3 lbs. It all depends on your body. You might gain, you might lose, you might stay the same. |
