| I just started working out and I'm changing my diet so I can lose some weight (and gain/tone some muscle in the process). From what I've been reading, whey protein powder is the way to go. Which brand should I get and what size? I plan on running out to GNC today or tomorrow and don't want to deal with a sales pitch. Thanks in advance! |

| gnc has optinum nutrition jugs of proten that are pretty good. they come in a variety of flavors, double rich chocalate being my favorite, in a variety of sizes up to 10 lbs. i would recomend getting a 5 lb jug. the more you invest in supplements the more likely you are to stick to a strick diet and workout routine. |

| yes, 100% Whey by Optimum Nutrition is the 'whey' to go. Get whatever size you want, i guess. |

| Doug and furball are correct. Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey is by far the best whey protein available. |
