Do ab exercises and your diet has lots to do with it, becasue it dosnt matter how much you exercise your abs the only way fat will go away is by eating healthy.

I suggest you start by eating right. I am seeing a nutritionist, and i have lost 10+ pounds over last summer. Then, for 2 months, i worked out for 2 hours 4 days a week, and lost 10 more pounds. You run at about 5 for 45 minutes on the treadmill. For abs, I suggest you go into a gym, and just do some machines that strengthen them, and possibly crunches.Do about 100 crunches to the front, 100 to right, 100 to left, and punches - 50. Do that about 3 days a week.

Jog a mile a day, and do NOT to crunches/situps right away. This will cause an even more 'fluffy' stomach because the muscle will push out the fat that is hiding your abs.Make sure at least 50-70% of your food intake is fruits and vegetables, this will kickstart your metabolism. After your abs start to show, this is when you should start doing situps and crunches.Good luck.

hey I'm 16 and I have the same problem kind of.But my belly has been becoming more flat and muscular. What I do is rip out those routines in magazines like in seventeen magazines and do them twice a day and sometimes i will follow a workout video on tv. I like Gilads bodys in motion because it targets your whole body and from what I've heard it isn't good to focus on just one spot.

if you want to tone your stomach do crunches. they are better for your back and work well for upper abs and lats. For lower abs you need to do a kind of crunch but your upper body does not leave the floor. Laying flat lift your legs straight up (you will be in an L shape) and then raise your butt a little off the floor. Your legs should stay straight up! Don't lift too high and don't allow a rocking motion to help you lift. Do this and your crunches in sets of three trying to start with at least 10 reps in each set. Increase the number of reps as you strengthen.Edit: all the cardio in the world with not firm up the stomach. Only toning exercises will do that. I'm not saying cardio workouts shouldn't be done..they should. But to tone some areas like abs, triceps, biceps, pecs etc you need specific area toning exercises.

Actually... Cardio is the way to go. Everyone who says Sit ups, crunches and other ab exercises are wrong. Those exercises don't burn fat, but they build muscle. You want to lose that "fluffy" belly by running, jump rope, and other cardio exercising.

I've heard if you go to a gym... it's better then doing push ups, or other then that it will just give you more pain in your muscles. There is one thing left..you have to focus on YOUR WHOLE BODY when your exercising.
