|
|
| I only weigh 113 (4 ft, 11 in tall) and my stomach and arms are normal size, but my thighs are not. What specific exercises and diet information should I consider. And yes, Even when I played sports in school and ran, my thighs never changed. Any advice?I don't think it's my diet b/c I only drink water, eat very little junkfood, and have been a vegetarian for years |

| Deep squats and lunges.Strengthen the muscles in your legs with targeted muscle-specific exercises like the ones above. If the muscles grow, then the fat will shrink. |

| ^"Dustin is wrong!"^, but ^Nima_baby^ is right b'cuz when u do lots of squats and work on the targeted muscle, then ur legs will look bigger! cause ur gaining muscles not losing it. running is a better chance to make it look skinner and better looking. |

| The best way to lose fat from any of your body is dieting. Contrary to popular belief, you can not really target a specific area of fat on your body. You should do proper diet and exercise. If you just focus on doing squats or lunges, your muscle tone will actually increase and the fat will not disappear. Your thighs could actually get bigger. |

| Hey Tonberry,Your not overweight but whats probably happening is your legs are untoned, which is making you appear bigger. I think the main problem may be your diet. As you've said even when you do physical activities they stay the same. You should take up Jogging again, as its a great fat burner. What I think is happening is your eating the wrong foods, Avoid saturated fats and sugars (e.g processed foods, cakes, sweets etc) Your diet should be 40% Protein 40% Carbs and 20% Fats. Some good fats would be Fish, Soya Beans and PulsesYou should be eating about 6 times a day, (mini meals) as this increases your metabolism, which would burn more fat.(You can do without any weights)Lunges http://www.changingshape.com/exercise/st...Squat http://www.changingshape.com/exercise/st...(If you have a barbell and/or dumbells you could also do these exercises)Barbell lunges http://www.changingshape.com/exercise/st...Barbell squats http://www.changingshape.com/exercise/st...Dumbell Lunges http://www.changingshape.com/exercise/st...Dumbell Squats http://www.changingshape.com/exercise/st...All the best and take care,Kermit |
