|
|
| I'm looking to lose about 40 pounds on no set timeline. I just wanna be healthy doing it.I have access to a gym and can make it there 4 days a week. I also like running and raquetball, and I'm a vegetarian, so my big mistake was eating a lot of carbs. Can anyone give me an exercise plan? I have basically most equipment/facilities at my disposal. Thanks! |

I'm a vegetarian and i know what you mean. It's hard not to eat a lot of carbs, because it's the only thing that really fills you up besides meat. What i do is i workout Mon-Fri (Weekends should be your rest days)If i go to the gym i usually use eliptical trainers because they are better for your body than tredmils. I do ab workouts daily. Try to find a ball to use, you get better results. And the days i cannot make it to the gym i will run 2 miles.I think the hardest part about getting fit, is being motivated. You said that you are a member of a gym, i strongly suggest you join one of there team fitnesses. They are awesome, and get you motivated to lose weight! As for diets, just make sure you are eating healthy. Try to stay away from pizzas, pastas, rice...you know the usual I know it's hard, but it's okay once in awhile. Every sunday i allow myself to eat something "bad" i guess you could say. This way your not craving it, and will have less break-downs.TRY:Smoothies with whey protein Balance barsSaladsPeanut butter (in small portions)Slices of cheese for snacksor nuts for a snack as wellGood luck! |
