What is your BMI? why do you need to lose weight? You sound physically active and if you're a vegetarian you shouldn't be getting a lot of extra fats in your diet...unless you're eating a lot of crap.If you are eating a lot of junk food, quit eating it and you'll lose weight just by continuing your regular routine.Go check you Body Mass Index and see if you reall need to lose weight... http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/

becoming a vegetarian won't help you lose weight.i hope you aren't eating meat because the animals mean something to you.and yes you should exercise... any kind. and even though you have asthma you can still run. running will actually help your asthma it just takes a lot of work. i had real bad asthma and almost died several time when i was younger, but i started running now i only have attacks maybe once a year.

Exercises aren't the problem, your diet is the problem. Let me explain something. You are telling your body to hang on to all the fat it can get, store it, and pack it on hard because you are trying to starve yourself. Don't starve yourself, just stop eating junk food. That's it - please stop eating garbage. I know that's your problem. You need to have a more balanced diet. It is healthy for you to eat meat. Don't believe that it is harmful because it's not. Make sure that it is lean and never fried. Never eat anything fried - especially french fires, I know how vegetarians think french fries are okay. That's a lie - they are poison. Nothing fried. Lean meat is okay. Eggs are awesome. Dairy is fine, in moderation. You can do without cheese, though. Skim milk should be your new best friend. I promise if you balance your diet and exercise more cardio (add weight training if you can) you'll lose weight!

Consult your physician before trying to lose weight. You can also try working with a licensed dietician. If you're 14 your body is growing and changing. It needs nutrients and you need to take care of yourself. Also let your parents know your concerns about your weight.
