sweating? my friend claims to have weighed 195 and "somehow" went down to 186 in 3 days... now he says its from his wrestling practice... and he also states that this weight loss is coming from sweat. is this really true or is he just saying that?

Well when you work out or do some kind of activity involving moovement challenging your current fitness level you will sweat as well as burning calories.So, it's true. Smile

yeah, but u still have to drink water to make up for that sweat.you are not burning calories or fat. Just losing water whicj is very vital for ur well being!

you can lose water weight by sweating, but it's not going to be the same as long term weight loss.. you won't be losing fat cells, you'll just be draining the water out of your body..

what he lost is water weight he either sweated it out or peed it out i would guess a little bit of both

you can, but it's dangerous. wrestlers have died by cutting water weight.

yes, it's call dehydration! wrestler's do it everyday during the season to make sure they make weight! it isn't a recommended way to maintain ones weight! a good exercise routine and proper diet will keep it off and you'll feel a lot better doing it!

Did you ever hear of sauna suit? It's a suit that you can purchase at any sporting goods store. It's a suit that is made off plastic. What it does is, it makes you sweat like crazy. You can lose so much weight just by using this sauna suit. If you do get it please use it only for half an hour and make sure you drink plenty of water okay. You could use it more than half an hour but that's only if you keep drinking water. If you don't drink water you can dehydrate and I don't think you want to go to the doctor.
