| Hi im 20 yr old girl and im thinking about doing a marathon in april (madrid - end of) ive found a running plan, but its quite demanding time wise.does anybody know if it would be ok to combine some of the short ones together? so i can have more days off, because im a teacher and its quite hard to follow such a strict plan, and with the weather too.the most i have run in 15.5 miles, and i have read the max you should run before marathon is 22/23 ish. is it necessary to follow a strict plan (its 5-6 days a week the one ive found)? as long as you get the miles in? is there a recomended weekly mileage?also, about food - what is recomended? im a veggie but i dont like eggs/milk (i have tiny bit of skimmed in tea) or cheese, or fish except tuna.but i drink 3-4 litrs of water every day anyway.thanks, if you could help xxx |
