How can i effectively lose two pounds per week? I'd like to start tomorrow (with a water fast) and then go into my diet after having a "cleansed" body. How many calories/hours of exercise are needed to lose two to three pounds per week for a 5'5-5'6 person who weighs about one hundred seventeen now? What forms of exercise are most effective to getting that "beach body" without a fitness club membership? I am able to use the treadmill I have at home and a few Cindy Crawford videos, my mom has from the late nineties. I am still growing so no diet that could possibly stunt my growth, please, oh and I know this fails to apply to fitness and diet, but a cute haircut for a person who has very high cheek bones and waist length hair ( without losing a lot of the hair!Very Happy ) ?I exercise a lot, and no ridiculing for MY wishing to lose weight--I asked because I want to do this in a healthy manner, would you rather inform me on how effectively lose a safe amount of weight or woudl you rather I become one of millions of Americans with an eating disorder?

1) I don't really think you're capable of losing 2 pounds a week because most of that is probably muscle anyways.2) Going on a diet when your young is stupid and you shouldn't think of it that way. Think more about healthy eating and exercise, not how much you lose!

#1- drink plenty of water--this speeds up your metabolism#2- don't skip meals.#3- dont eat past 7pm.4- exercise early in the morning. You burn the maximum amount of calories. Exercise no matter what. Change up the routine too so you wont get bored or stuck on a plateau.5- I went on Atkins and this worked well for me. Or just get a diet book and get into the habit of cooking and dont eat out at fast food places.

Running is the best exercise for weight loss/toning imo. You should aim for about 1500 cals a day. Running burns A LOT of cals. Please dont starve yourself because this kind of weight loss is not permanant and will stunt your growth. Think long term

Forget about calories. You need to nourish your body thin, instead of starving your body fat. See site below so you can get thin fast and stay thin for the rest of your life.

a lot of running. and i dont know what you meant bu a water fast, but the more water you drink, the more water weight youll lose. also when your exercising where maybe a sweat shirt, to make sure you sweat to lose more water weight, but take a break every 15 minutes or so and drink A LOT of water!!!!!!!!! and try getting your hair layered or not. it would help to see your face structure, to know if we should put a shape to your face, or to thin it out. but layers work for most people.

keep as usual. i think you maintain your weight. no loss no increase. take food as usual. no running, no walking, no diet, no collestral, no curd, no oil. no chance for losing weight. This is my personal experience only. if you like follow.

follow this....it worked for me1- try to sleep well at night, poor sleep, irregular sleep makes you fat.go to bed exactly the same time every night.2- try to avoid sugar, make it a habit for your life.just fruit and honey but avoid anything else especially ice cream, cakes and cookies3- try to eat your breakfast every day....you can not miss on breakfast and then a light lunch4- then after around 1 p.m stop eating for the rest of the day....the reason is you burn whatever you eat during the early hours of the day but anything you eat after 3 p.m turns to fat when you sleep5- exercise regularly...whatever you can do but do not eat anything after exercise.6- try to avoid stress.....stress makes you fat

You are already really thin for your height and you sound young. You don't need to fast or "cleanse" not eating will only make your body hold on to the calories you intake. You can lose by just moving more and exercise - 30 min to and hour 4 days a week should do it and keep moving until you go to sleep. Eating healthy - no candy, junk, etc. http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/
