I'm 5 ft 3 and 98 pounds. Today I ate 1/4 dry oatmeal cooked in water, 1/4 cup of chicken and 1/2 an avocado between two slices of bread, a cup of yogurt, and a cereal bar with carrots as a snack. Can you please give me advice on healthy dinner choicesr? I swim twice a week and run on the elliptical for at least 10 minutes a week.

you definitely don't weigh enough. I am the same height as you. I used to not get enough calories, and I had to be hospitalized. I am fine now and weigh 110. By the sound of what you eat, you definitely aren't getting enough calories, your body is probably putting you into starvation mode. Try gradually increasing the amount of food that you eat. Add some milk to your oatmeal. Add some nuts or tasteless flaxseeds to your yogurt to give you some more protein and help your muscles grow. For dinner, how about whole grain spaghetti with tomato sauce and Perdue lean turkey meatballs. You could also try fish, like salmon, which has omega-3 fatty acids. and some whole grain rice with beans.

fish is really good as a dinner base, with a side salad and some vegetables. not a fish lover? a fist sized portion of chicken or lamb also mkes a great, healthy dinner meal.
