I gained a lot of weight my first semester of college, and I'm definitely ready and committed to lose it, plus more. I'm considering adding Alli to my diet plan... has anyone here tried it, and do you like it/is it helping?

Alli works by blocking the absorption of 25% of the fat you eat. If you do eat a lot of fat you will have nasty side effects like "loose stools" and "gas with an oily discharge" (that comes right from them in the brochure they hand out). So really the idea is to not eat fats, so that you dont have the side effects. And then if you are not eating fats then you are most likely taking in less calories, thereby resulting in weight loss.If you already are not consuming fatty foods, then it is not gonna do much if anything for you.

Hi there. Im taking Alli now. I have for the last couple weeks. Before Christmas I lost eight lbs in a week. I am doing a low calorie and fat diet like the Alli says. I have had no problems on it at all. If you have other questions or want to talk feel free to email me. I can answer more questions. Smile
