I am ready to get into a better lifestyle and keep a healthy lifestyle, and do so in a healthy way. I am tired of being a lazy bum and overeating. I am by no mean obese, but slightly(?) overweight in my opinion. I mainly have extra fat in my lower waist and thighs. I was wanting to know a good starter fitness and exercise routine?I am 5'5 160lbsI wear a size 9 jean.I really don't care what the size of my clothes are I just would like to feel good and be happy with the way I look in them. I was once a size 6/7 and 130lb. I felt very confortable at this size and would like to be there and stay there hopefully before the month of May.I was also wondering in 15 pounds was too much to go for in 5 weeks time?It it means anything I have a tredmill and a bike at home, that I will be able to use.I am not a big fan of running. Back at my old weight I would run 2 miles every morning. But that is why I gained weight now because I found that it got very boring. I could probably go 1 mile every other day or so without it getting too boring now.

Losing 15 pounds in 5 weeks is reasonable.
