I have the exercise thing down.I do yoga and pilates and I walk my dogs everyday.I just have no idea what to eat.I know the whole fruits and veggies thing but what else?I don't know what to eat that actually has substance and will fill me up.If you have any good plans or websites that will tell me what is healthy and what is not I would greatly appreciate it.I am at a complete loss here.I wasn't raised knowing what is good and bad food wise.I look at the nutrition facts of things but I don't know what I want lots of and what I want none of.Even if you just a have a meal plan for one day thats fine.I will eat those same meals everyday as long as I'm getting the nutrients I need.Help!P.S. I'm a vegetarian (no meat including fish and chicken).

to get started no soda drink a gallon of water a day spring or distill no tap water!! or crystal light for your meals.Breakfast oatmeal and a fruit or a breakfast bar and water.Lunch eat vegetables with light oil or margarine and a fruit.Dinner salad and a small cut of vegetables and a fruit.no eating after 7pm !!do 250 sit-ups in the morning and 250 sit-ups before bed. Also do leg squats against the wall. 3 sets of 20 will do fine.Make sure you squat all the way down and come up slowly.Do this every other day or till you stop hurting .Try this for 4 weeks and see the difference only if you really want to loose weight.P.S.American Whey protein is also good for a replacement meal.Good taste and goes down smoothly.Been taking it for 5 yrs now.Good luck: CLICK ALSO ON TO MY FREE WEBSITE HAS FREE WORKOUT PLANS AND FREE DIET PLANS :)FROM THE STAFF OF BOEAFITNESS

Simple...Eat five meals during the day (should be around 1500-1800 considering your activity). Each meal should have roughly the same amount of calories. Have a lean protein, good fat, and clean carbohydrate. Ex. 1egg(protein), 1 whole wheat toast(clean carb) and 1 tbsp smart balance(good fat). The combinations of the three will keep you satisfied NOT FULL. Eat every 3-4 hours and it will raise your metabolism, and keep you from getting hungry. You will always be satisfied and not get that hopeless hungry feeling. You will have to search for vegetarian combos that will match up. Tofu is a great protein! So are most beans.

oatmeal is great. add honey to your diet. try eating a handful of nuts a day, usually late morning this helps your energy levels. carrot sticks are a good snack, you can have small amount of dip with them. also if you have a sweet tooth the 100 calorie packs are great...the chex mix ones are my favorite. drink lots of water, you can get those water mix ins for water bottles if ya like a little flavor...crystal light makes them or walmart or target makes them in their generic brand. if you have thought about weight watchers its a good program for you to know how much you can eat, but the fees can get expensize (about 50 a month) but if you join for like three months or less and buy the books, you can do it on your own.Good Luck!

http://caloriecount.about.com , a great website. Also try The Zone, it is a ten dollar book that is so worthwhile, l have been on it for years. It is great food, lots of it. I am mostly a vegetarian myself, so here are some ideas- make sure you have plenty of water and mineral salts from france , as well as a good multi-vitamin and extra D if you are in northern climates {check out Dr. Oz on Oprah, he suggested a large amount but l am not sure now what it was}, make sure you have a great source of iron since this is a common problem with vegetarians. Now every day you can have a breakfast with a protein and a vegtable / fruit. An example is a yogurt and fruit plate, or oatmeal with blueberries and a tofu sausage/cheese [for protein}. In this way you are balancing protein with fresh fruit and keeping starches and grains low. Another idea includes combos with blueberry bran pancakes, and eggs on a tortilla. For lunch you can have a salad with chopped egg and shredded cheese and a vinegarette dressing. Or veg. chilli with shredded lettuce and cheese. For diner you can have veg. lasagna, or spaghetti or thia food or anything as long as it has balance with veggies and protein. I hope that helps!
