I am 17 years old, 5'5-5'6.I just weighed myself this morning and i weigh 203 lbs now!I need diet suggestions, and links to them. Diets that are free and work. I dont have money to pay $1000+ for a diet like i did for LA Weight Loss. But i really, really need to lose weight. I want to get down to about 130ish, and ill be more than happy. Please, someone help me. I hate being over weight and im finally ready to get rid of it all FOR GOOD. Like i said, i need a free site, or even if anyone has a diet plan, like the LA weight loss charts could maybe scan them for me and send me the diet? I misplaced the papers when i moved out of my moms house b/c of personal issues so i no longer have them:( I definitely need to do this now, NO more waiting. Its only affecting my health worse and worse and i want to do it now before i get bigger and bigger and then make it so much harder than it would be now. Please help[:Sorry i sound so desperate, its just i guess i am desperate to lose weight.

- don't think about the entire weight loss, just concentrate on losing 5 pounds. then celebrate. then lose 5 more. - drink nothing but water, herbal tea, and perhaps one morning coffee (no sugar). take no calories in liquid form! - think about eating MORE - more often, more small meals, more fresh raw fruit and veggies, more whole grains and lean protein. you'll accidentally leave out the junk food. - eat no chemicals. if you can't pronounce it or don't know what it is, why on earth would you ingest it? this will cut out junk food, processed meats, and other garbage

weight watchers works. I dont have my information anymore but if you search for it on the web you can find the formula the calulator uses to determine how many points a food has in it..depending on your weight is how many points you can have in a day.(which you can also find on the web).

you're only 17, just join an athletic team for your school. I know a 15 year old kid who weighed more than you and he lost 20 lbs in two weeks on the wrestling team.

I was 310 lbs, I joined the football team, after the season I weighed 275. Next I joined the wrestling team, So far I've gotten down to 260. In wrestling they tell us the safest way to loose weight is to just each 500 calories less than you do now, and exercise. Diets are crap and don't work for everyone. Don't try to loose weight fast, you will do more damage to your body than you do already for being overweight. Just 500 fewer calories everyday. Excercise. Drink lots of water. You should loose about 2-3 lbs a week. After a year, you'll be down to 130. This is the safest way. Rapid weight loss will kill you.

I have just joined caloriecount.about.com or try caloriecountplus.about.com...it has great information on getting healthy and slimming down. I have always stuck to the zone, which is a great little ten dollar book to get, and it is all about health without starvation. Lots of prep work however if you want to be on a budget at the same time. Now here is the skinny on dieting...it could be your thyroid that is out of sync so make sure you have your doctor test you for this and blood sugar and everything before you get into it. The first stage, should be just letting go of a habit that is not healthy and replacing it with something healthy...like instead of picking up french fries at a drive through, walk to the grocery store and pick up some fresh fruit. At this point cut out the fats and starches {potatoes}, learn as much as possible and make health and nutrition your new hobby. Find new ways to reduce anxiety. Many people who over-eat have an anxiety -compulsion disorder {and most of the population is in the same boat, it is caused by stress], and stress hormones are released causing your body to store sugar and fat. A great book is by Edmund J. Bourne, PhD, and is about $16.00 on Amazon {The Anxiety and Phobia workbook} I know you might think this isn't you, l certainly did, but it is a great workbook and really helps you understand why you reach for that cookie. So put your name in it, and fill it out in ink, and let it become a part of your health plan. Another idea is hypnosis, l recommend Luanne Oakes she is on Nightengale- Conant Website and there is a free listen. It is about $65.oo to download, and it is worth every penny. Consider any way you can get balance in your life, food + friends + lifestyle + health = balance = Joy! Little things like walking to the store, going to a farmers market, or buying a fresh flower, painting, or starting photography, will ease the transistion.Always remember your health is not just about what you are eating, the focus on food is to avoid focusing on what is really bothering you. As you begin to changing your lifestyle to invite health and happiness in you are taking control. Instead of focusing on what you don't like focus on what you do like, delight in how healthy you feel, and the brilliant person you are. Give yourself lots of love and value yourself for the strength and forsight you have to change forever!
