| Well I think you mean you have 2 gears on your crank and a cluster of gears (cassette) on your rear axle.1. increase your cadence to 90 - 1002. pedal that cadence in the highest "gear" you can.Gear is the combination of the front chain ring and the cog currently being used on the rear cassette.Your higher gears (more effort and speed) are your larger (outside) ring on the front and smaller cogs on the back.Lower gears (less effort -on the flat- but more climbing torque) are your smaller (inside) ring on the fron and larger cogs on the back. http://sheldonbrown.com/gearing/index.htmlor check this handy calculator http://www.sheldonbrown.com/gears/Practice changing and pedaling through the gears and you will quickly see what I tried to explain. Have fun |

| I don't quite follow this thing with 'L' and 'H' !! are you talking about the limit screws???These screws are only adjusted to ensure your chain doesn't fall off, they won't make you go any faster!Your question is a little ambiguous, so that is as far as I am willing to go, unless it's clarified!. |
