Why are people mug enough to buy these? A prog on TV showed clips of the ones made over the years. It was pretty obvious that the "celebrities" did not do the exercises on a regular basis -- i.e. they did NOT look in any way competent at the exercises--- which they would have been if they had done them for any length of time. The sole purpose of these DVDs is to make a profit.

I totally agree, why do people think that just because a Celebrity is on the DVD it's "going to work this time" . They are fooled into thinking that it will, when all the celebrity is doing is making money out of them. I know someone who has about 10 of these so called fitness DVDs but they are still the same weight/size.

Carmen Electra has "stripper" exercise videos and I think she has a great body...the exercises are fun and easy to do. I didn't buy it to pay my favorite celebrities. She's not my favorite (far from it), but I bought it because I read reviews on it and they were all good reviews. There's lots of stretching involved (and I love to stretch), range of motion, yet there's a slight break in sweat which means I'm burning my calories. My goal was to look MILFy. Wink BTW, I think I'm pretty "fly" for a mom of 3. LOL

I think celebrity fitness DVD's are pretty good. I have the Charlie Brooks DVD and it really motivates me to do exercise and eat healthy. I really don't care much if the celebrity on the cover actually follows the plan, as long as it works for me thats what matters.
