Ok, so I have levels 1 - 10 of resistance on my bike, do you have any idea roughly the calories burned on these levels? I am 107lbs. Or what resistance would be equal to an average flat terrain.

The same calories as cycling downhill! Without getting your heart rate raised you aren't burning much.

cycling on a regular bike needs more energy and burns more calories since the resistance would be higher

no - b/c on a regular bike you have built in resistance - just the ground...not to mention hills and stuff. At the gym, upright bikes are better....recumbent bikes are worthless...! http://www.exercise-bike-review.com/Article_recumbent_Bike_Vs_Upright_ Bike.html

well i think not. with a normal bike, u have wind, type of terrain, how large or small yr group is (always bike with buddys) how many stops u take, how lang u bike for, what type of bike u have weather conditions. so in yr house u any have like 1 or 2 of those

I would think it would not, because you are not working out as hard as you would with resistance, it tends to work the muscles a whole lot more.

Definitely not... A regular bike no matter what speed is burning more calories b/c you have terrain that acts as a natural barrier...

My field is in fashion, as a result many people ask me how they can slim down. My answer is always the same: good diet and exercise. But I found this great product (all natural) which I think helps a lot in the process. I recommend you check this website http://slimhealth.info , they have a free trial and you only pay $6.95 shipping and handling. Good luck!
