How many calories are burned if you cycle on a stationary bike for an hour? How many calories are burned if you walk two miles a day?Does it matter if its in the morning or night?Im trying to lose weight ive already cut back on food and am eating better.I also drink between 32 and 48 ounces of liquid a day.SO how many calories does the stationary bike and walking burn ?(not going to do both everyday but maybe alternate days)Thanks for the answers.BTW: Im 18 and weigh about 190-195 pounds. Thus the need to lose weight.

it all depends on your age and weight to burn calories. On a stationary bike you might burn about 400-600 calories/hr (depending on your weight and age, and the intensity of the workout) and walking 2 miles might burn you about 100-150 calories (give or take). No it does not matter if its in the morning or night, but that may affect your strength. Its good that your drinking plenty of water, even if your not thirsty, drink water while excercising!

Don't just go on how many calories a specific exercise burns. You also want to tone up your muscles, which both walking and cycling will do. Throw in some other exercise as well, maybe swimming and core exercises. These will help you to look better.Personally I have more energy in the evening. See what works for you.
