| I am an ectomorph and it takes us longer than normal people to accomplish fitness goals With that being said I need to be able to do 30-40 pushups in a minute (to pass a Police Application test.) Any exercises or pushup variations that'll help me achieve my goal faster? Thanks |

| Try pushups with your legs raised on a chair or something. It increases the difficulty. If you have a good weight set do benchpress. Or you could throw some weights or some heavy books or something into a backpack and do pushups with that, just make sure you don't hurt your back. Also, clap pushups will help build explosive power so your pushups will be faster.Other than that, just do lots of pushups and increase the amount you do by a little each week. Also remember to rest every couple of days to let your muscles recover and grow. |
