Today was my first day back to gym after a long time. I started walking on the trademill and my thighs and belly were felling so itchy!I know that its normal to feel this after a long time of not going to the gym.Is there any tip that can help me avoid this?

It is just the circulation comming to your body, it is caused when the blood starts pumping in places it hasn't been for a while. The solution, excercise regularly. and the feeling will simply go away after a while.

The same thing used to happen to me when I ran in colder weather or if I hadn't run in a while. My thighs would start to itch like crazy and I looked goofy trying to scratch my legs and run at the same time. I read that it was caused by histamines that are sometimes produced during vigorous exercise. I got rid of the problem by taking an antihistamine (an over-the-counter allergy pill, to be specific) about an hour before working out. I use Claritin, but there are other antihistimines out there also. Give it a try.
