| Ok. I'm a skinny 15yr old that wants to get stronger and more flexible for ballet. I wanna be able to bring my leg up really high on my arabesques (sp?). I need a good routine (i.e. in the morning do this and then this blah, blah, blah). It can include running, stairs, warm-up, stretches, etc.. Please get specific and tell me if there is anything alse I need to do (besides excersise). Thanks! =) |

| i was a dancer frpom the age of 3 to 20 in ballet and other stuff. you really need to work on your hamstrings and the front thigh muscle.- failed biology at school dunno the names. you could use weights that you can strap to your ankles or use a bag of sugar and put it on the front of your fot and lift it. really make sure that you stretch and warm up properly before excerciseing. you need strong abs and back for grand batements- leg kicks- if your back collapses then everythign lets go. work on abs and lower back. more importantly have fun!make it into a game- home may leg kids can i do that are hip high each day. |
