i dont have money for a gym or to buy weights or nothing like that. i get 150 bucks a month for food but the market nearest my house only sells junk the only semi healthy items they have is apples, oranges and bags of salad. i dont drive so i walk every where but thats not cutting it. im about 240 now with a 45 inch waist that i want to shrink. for new years im cutting out a lot of the junk i normally eat and cutting back on my red meat but what else can i do?

stop eating bread, if you drink alot of soda stop doing that also, take your walks, just don't deprive or starve yourself, you don't have to worry about eating red meat. drink water. Good luck

Eat smaller portions. Add some sit ups and push ups. You walk everywhere, but try picking up the pace and going for a jog . I am going to be starting on a diet when the new year hits. These are a few things I am going to do. Also, buy a set of resistance bands....not expensive and you can work different muscles by using them in different ways. Good Luck ... you can do it.Also, check out sparkpeople.com it's an awesome site and support

first of all it seems like you have alot of excuses. if you really want to lose weight then eat healthy and exercise, you dont need a gym. go running, do pushups, chair lifts and squats. if you really want to lose weight than you would.

something that helped me was taking a notebook and writing a food journal.... that trying to get at least a little bit of exercise (i.e. walking or push-ups) everyday that and you might try asking your doctor what he/she recommends for your health Smile also a good place to get ideas is webMD hope this helps :)good luck on your diet Smile

Find the nearest sidewalk and follow it!Seriously, cutting out junk especially sodas is a great start, but there's no substitute for exercise.

Don't cut out the meat. Cut flour and sugar, in all forms.
