the two of you should be health buddies and support each other in dieting and exercise. i was able to lose 20lbs by using THE FIRM videos and BILLY BLANKS Taebo jam. each Firm workout lasts 45-60 mins. Taebo crunch is 20mins. I usually combine the 2. its hard at fist but when it will eventually become a good habit when you stick to your routine.

You have a busy life, that's going to make things difficult. If you're serious about loosing weight though you can definitely do it. Because you're drastically overweight you should notice pounds falling off rather quickly at first. Diet and exercise are absolutely key. Since you sound strapped for time you should probably focus closely on diet and less on exercise. Start investigating proper eating habits online. I recommend a site called Fit Day to log all the food you consume. Scrutinize absolutely every single thing you put into your body.Find out your daily caloric burn based on your weight and activity level, (find a site to do this using google). As a woman you can probably cut back to about 1200 calories per day. Your husband should probably stay closer to 1500 or so. I'd guess and say that your body burns close to 3000 calories a day to keep you going. If you cut back to 1200 per day that means your body will be burning 1800 calories of fat per day just to keep you alive, (that's about a half pound!).Weigh yourself often, but not too often. Your weight probably fluctuates 4-5 pounds throughout the day, so pick a consistent time to weigh in. Use Fit Day to log your weight and monitor your progress.Oh, and drink lots and lots of water. A dehydrated body doesn't burn fat nearly as well as a properly hydrated one.

Have a look at the Men's Health Abs diet (they have a women's variation too). It covers exercises you can do at home with minimal equipment as well as excellent guidelines for eating. It's really not difficult to follow.Eating habits are the biggest factor in weight loss, but exercise, both cardio and basic weights, are important. Also consider buying a treadmill for home. I know they're expensive for a good one, but it's less likely you'll get bored with it than other exercise equipment which just ends up being used for drying clothes and the like.

Cardio and diet is key! Cardio machines would include ellipticals, tredmills, stairmasters, stationary bikes, etc. You would need to do at least 40 minutes a day of cardio whether it be swimming, walking briskly, cycling, or even dancing. Aerobics classes are fun also. At my gym we conduct water aerobics classes. Personal trainers are a great help also.Diet-wise the new Nutri Systems program is really great. I promise that it is good tasting food. It really teaches the correct portion sizes so when you're done with the program the knowledge of the amount you should eat is still there. The program is also extremely effective in weight loss when combined with exercise.Good luck guys...
