| I currently do:1-2 hours of Yoga a week2-3 hours of cardio classes a week1-2 hours of strength trainingand running 1/2 hour three times a weekIs this a balanced exercise program to get into better physical shape? Also, how active am I, in your opinion? Any suggestions to improve my exercise routine to make it more rounded would also be welcome. |

| You are active, well done.Make sure you balance your training well. Allow rest after strength training, as your muscles need rest to grow. |

| you've got a good balance of cardio, strength, and stretching/toning/light exercise. the only thing i can say is always stretch especially before jogging as this is very hard on your ankles. and don't over-do it. try and have one day a week where you don't do any hard physical exercise (maybe on the day that you have your yoga lesson) to let your body recuperate. also make sure you keep up your accidental exercise (take stairs instead of lift, walk to shops instead of driving if close enough, wash your own car instead of driving through autowash etc.) don't make the mistake some ppl do and jog for half hour in morning but then sit on their behind for the rest of the day and wonder why their not losing weight. keep up the good work |
