| I am 5 foot 11 approx275'ish poundsoffensive tackle mainly, with some defensive tackle. (like def more, what can i do to get more on def?)I am not the slowest or least skilled player so that always helps. Any more information you guys need, just ask.I just want to improve my chances of making varsity next year. first time i have ever started to even lift weights. so obviously i'm not going to be a beast in the gym quite yetAlso, winter conditioning will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 3:05 - 4:15.As a team, we do alot of pushups, situps, that kind of stuff after lifting.On Tuesdays, my runs consist primarily of sprints. We have a 1/10 mile track that I sprint on, my longest sprint is 1 lap, i don't need distance sprint power.On Mondays and Thursdays, I just go for endurance, anywhere from .5 miles to 1 mile moderate jog. Sometimes do stair running tooNot sure what my maxes are...Bench : I can do a 45# plate on each side with a 45# bar easy 10 times..I'm thinking my max here is around 200 pounds, no more most likely.With squats, last thing I know I did and had to quit early was two 45# plates and a 25# weight on each side with 45# bar, and I did that 4 times... but that wasn't with any rest from 3 sets before that.Deadlift: as of today, i did 315 once... maybe could have squeezed out another one.. but not sure.I'm about 275 pounds5 foot 11 inches15 years old, 16 in may |

| REAL ADVICE. NOT GOING TO SUGARCOAT IT.Focus on getting your lifts up and a bit leaner. I understand you need to be big for a lineman but its better to be 225 pure muscle than 275 with a 200 bench. To be honest your lifts are kinda shitty for your weight so instead of doing the old 3 sets of ten I'd go the opposite ten sets of three of around 85% of your max. This increases testoterone and it makes you bigger much quicker.Eat less all toghther but add more protein and workout 4-5 times a week alternating between leg and back workouts and chest. Your starting good with sprints as they lose fat. SQUAT MORE. LEGS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANYTHING FOR AN OLINEMENHere are some tips for getting leaner and stronger.No carbs after 3 pmEat protein after everyworkout.Heck maybe you should stack whey protein with a diet pill for a bit? If you get down to 250 and get stronger you will be a tank! |
