I've been on a diet for 10 days and people around me see that I'm slimmer than before. But the thing is, when I go on the scale I weigh 2 kilograms more!! Is that 2 kg muscles or fats? How do I get rid of it? I do cheerleading, yoga and pilates. Oh and, I'm a female. I don't just want to lose my fat, i want to lose weight either. What do I do in order to lose weight without getting bulky thighs?

People make the mistake and look at the scale. The best way to keep track of weight lose is your clothes, how they look and how the fit. The number on the scale could mean a lot of things, water weight, increase in muscles, etc. You can't get bulky unless you increase your calorie intake. The way body builders get big is because of the HUGE amounts of calories the take in on a daily basis.

Don't be so picky. Eat less and exercise more and you will look and feel better no matter how much muscle you gain. Don't be obsessed with your weight. It is just a number and it means nothing. People don't care how much you weigh. They don't look at you and try to estimate your weight. They don't go around memorizing their friends' weights. It is all about how you look and feel, not about how much you weigh. And don't be afraid of muscles. Take it from a man: muscles are sexy, skin and bones are ugly.
