| Ive never been really skinny, maybe trim. ive always had a bottom. Lately Ive been trying to get it bigger, so have been eating a lot more in order to put on weight in the bottom half of my body. Im heavily pear-shaped so MOST of the fat from the food i have been eating has indeed gone to my bum & thighs. However, due to the amount of food I'm eating, some has, inevitably, gone to my stomach. I really need a way to get rid of my belly fat without changing my diet or doing cardio-excerises such as steppers or jogging, because they make me loose alot of weight onthe bottom half of my body. I do walk for an hour every day, up a large hill twice - so maybe that could help me?I DO go to the gym. However, the gym man (hu was overweight himself) told me that just doing abdominal excersies wouldnt help me to burn fat - i had to use the jogging machiny thingys. I thought that maybe he was just lying becaus he wanted me to loose weight on my bottom because he though i was fat. I go for about..1 and a half hours for 4 days a week and i use the instant abs worker every day for half an hour (equivalent to one sit up every six 6seconds). Do any of you know if the man at the gym was right - that i have to jog to get results - or if i can continue doing this and see results. A friend of mine, who is also a fitness instructor,a nd who ahsa great bbody, told me by sitting down and doing abdominal excersies fast, would definatly help me, which is what im currently doing, but the man at the gym ahs confused me. I dont want ot do this for 2 months and see no results. Also, if it would help me, how long before i see results?Thank you so much for your time xxxxve been rading similar questions and i dont want a hard 6 pack looking sotmach - just a flat one... |

| the gym man was absolutely right. situps and crunches will build muscle but not really burn fat....even though you'll have muscle (abs), there'll be layers of fat over it so your stomach will still appear to be big....my suggestion is to do cardio workouts such as jogging on a treadmill or using an elliptical for 30min-1hour every day |
