Work out and lift weights. Muscle weighs more that fat as you have probably heard before, so if you gain muscle mass you will lost the fat and become a little more toned.

remember - muscle weighs more than fat. you could lift weights and do excercises to increase muscle mass. if you do not want to lose weight, focus more on muscle-building excercises than other more common excercises like running which are more associated w/ losing weight.

Do strength training (weight lifting) and build lean muscle.Muscle weighs more than fat. So you may actually end up gaining weight - but GOOD weight, as in you will fit into clothes better. The number on the scale isn't always the best judge. Try marking your progress with a pair of jeans - even if the scale goes up, if the pants get looser, you know you're losing fat and gaining muscle! Good luck.

if you lift weights with your exercise you will build muscle tightening your body and the exercise will make you loose the fat but since you will be gaining muscle you might gain weight at first a little because muscle weighs more than fat but you will lose that fat

okay, what you do not need to do is to lower your calorie intake or do any cardio. You said you're underweight but still flabby. The thing you need to do is start weight training. That way you can build muscle so that your body will have tone. muscle weighs more than fat, but takes up less space so may actually become leaner. Muscle is much more metabolically active than fat so it will use more calories. Eventually you will burn off the fat and replace it with more muscle, thereby lowering your body fat percentage. You should go to the gym and ask a trainer there, or if you want to do it at home start by doing floor exercises and use light weight at first (5lb) to work your legs, and arms. You can do about 50 crunches a day and then as you get stronger increase resistance and repititions. email me if you have more questions.
