boosts your metabolism for the rest of the day, is this right?I go swimming in the morning and don't eat until I have come home, but which time is usually dinner time and I eat a healthy balanced meal that my mum has made me. I snack on dried berries and nuts on the way home to get some energy back. Doing this has lost me 6lbs already... and it can't be just water as I drink a lot of water throughout the day.

its better to eat carbs before a workout and im not talking about junk food im talking about like a slice of 100% whole grain bread (non processed) or fruit (like apples oranges grapefruit or berries)(notbannanas or mangoes or watermelon their loaded with sugar) or and vegtable (anything but carrots they have a high glycemic index) and healthy carb is easy to burn off so its better for you

You eat one meal a day. It wouldn't matter if you sat on the couch watching TV, you'd still lose weight. You can't burn the food that you have in your stomach, otherwise, the fat that you burn IS food that you have eaten. Not exactly sure what you're saying, but exercising burns a given amount of calories; eating contributes a given number of calories, regardless of which order you do them in. That being said, exercising before eating is better, though I can't remember exactly why. Makes you eat less or something.
