I suggest buying some ointment, like RUB A535 or TigerBalm.if you dont want to do taht, taking a bath after really helps to realive tense or sore muscles.

Try the BenGay Patch. It works! Get it at Walgreens, or CVS. ALso try Bengay muscle rub. Try taking an hot Epsom salts bath after your walks too.

That is just part of the process of getting fit. Don't worry. If you need to, rest once a while. Or start doing only 30 minute walks.

I would expect the aches to go away (or at least hurt less) after you get used to the routine. 'til then, maybe some OTC pain killers. If it does not go away, maybe talk to your doctor.

Stretch before, during and after. If you are in more pain than you think is natural, cut back on your regimen.

Take Calcium but a good one, powder form is probably the best one, Lifesprings has one that you put in boiling water and that way you absorb all of it! I think Zinc may help this as well but enquire about it or google.

go to a doctor if it still hurts but most likely it means you are not fit!i suggest running sprints, hardcore swimming, or weight lifting to be fit!(thats what i do but im 13, 5'4 and i weigh 74 pounds)

It will gradually get less painful, but by then you may be increasing the intensity of your workout and this will cause more aching.Ice is excellent, put some on the muscles for a few minutes ASAP after your workout, I use this method for minimising aches after weight training and also when I used to run (like a bottle of frozen water)

I live in the hills north of Hillsboro, WV, and I walk into town once a week. The round trip is about nine miles, and there are hills, and on the way back I'm usually carrying groceries and mail in my backpack. The whole trip takes me about four hours. When I first started doing this, my feet and legs hurt real bad. I had feet blisters for a while. But in a few months I adjusted to the exercise, and now it's not much of a problem any more. After you get back from a long walk, rub some medical alcohol on your feet. It makes the skin a little tougher. Also, compose silly little songs to sing while you walk. Here's one of mine.I know how to walk,And so do all of you!If I can walk to town,The rest of you can too!Or this one...Engines make too much exhaustAnd gasoline has a stink.Motor cars cause foreign wars,And George Bush is a fink!
