Ok I'm 28 years old weight 11 and a half stone gained about a stone over the last 6 months and want to lose it. Was wondering what my pulse rate needs to be when using the bike machine when in the 20 minute working out routine with it. I think its about 144 in the lower end and 160 in the higher end? Is this right? That seems a bit high as I havent reached that high with the bike mostly around 120 pulse rate and was pedalling quite fast and felt like I was getting a good workout from this? lolAnyway how often should I use the bike? Everyday? and for how long? 40 minutes? I'm not very active and dont go to the gym but would like to lose some body fast especially around my stomach area. I heard a bike machine is a good form of cardio vascular exercise. I'm not looking for a six pack, just want to get a flatter stomach and generally less fat on me |

| It all depends how fit you are.....The most important of all is the discipline and the goal you set-up for yourself.Start with relax 20 min. a day for 4 days and than gradually increase by 10 min. everyday (accept for the weekends). With a maximum of 60 min.You should be able to reach this and feel good within a month... than you can impose on yourself to increase the resistance and balance. In the second month you should be able to see and feel differences, if you keep up the discipline. And for the six pack you can add some crunches... |
