Long story short, I'm back to working out full-time again. I'm 6'0 150lbs. I eat subway 3x's a day, and eat about 3 protein bars a day. I drink only water. I workout at the gym twice a day 4 times a week for about 2hrs each session. I do 1/2hr of cardio and lift free weights. Trying to gain a good 35lbs of muscle. I gave up cokes, chocolate, and everything else. When I can't stomach subway anymore I eat steak and potatoes (protein and carbs). I take a multi-vitamin, workout supplement, and a red-bull daily before working out. When working out I do heavy weight light reps. I'm about to get back on whey protein (shakes) and maybe get some weight gainer too. Any tips/ideas that could help would be greatly appreciated. I have a very very toned and sculped body, its just rather lean. Trying to get bigger muscles. Thanks in advance for any advice.btw, ive read body builder 101, i read men's health and men's fitness magazines, i used to play football and run track back in HS, and I used to be a boxer. I took weight training in HS too. I know the basics of working out to get bigger and what not, just looking for some possible tips that I haven't found yet. My job also is very physical, so I'm constantly working my muscles on a daily basis. The only thing I'm not doing is really getting enough sleep at night. other than that, im doing pretty much everything to get and see good results.

You said you're lean, but you haven't got big muscles right? So it might indicate that you're over working you're muscles. You gain muscles while you're sleeping, so you need to sleep alot. I'm not quite sure, but I've read that you shouldn't spend more than 45 minutes lifting weighs for some particular reason I can't remember - -*. I've also read that you should only work on one particular muscle group ONCE per weak. This is to allow your muscles to grow within the resting days. Maybe you shouldn't work out twice per day. And maybe you're doing too much cardio. Since your goal is to gain mass, when you do too much cardio, you're burning away the mass that is supposed to go into your muscles if you know what I mean. So if you're already lean, I suggest you to cut down on your cardio. 20 min should be enough. I've also read that you must vary your routines your routines every now and then in order to manipulate your muscles. If you're lifting with the same routine and weight all the time, your muscles has no need to grow bigger. Hope that helps.....- -". I'm also in the process of finding the best routine for myself....^^"
