|
|
| Hi,I've bee taking about 10 different vitamins and supplents, vitamins abc ginger fish oil ect. I feel great but I started taking them about a week ago and after about 3 days I've had some bathroom issues, I've heard vitamin c can cause this so today I broke it in halve instead of taking the whole 1000 mg. If anyone knows if this will help of what might be causing this it would be so helpful. Thanks,ShaneI can post all of the kind and doses I take if it would be of help.Would you suggest I stop taking the fish oil or will my body adjust to it? |

| your body is adjusting to the healthier lifestyle. so a little detoxing is going on. vitamin C is soluable and doesn't stay in the body. Let it do it cleansing effects and you'll see the vitamins work better.and yeah give yourself a 2 to 3 day break between taking them. |

| Its a good thing that you are taking supplements. However, if you are not taking them in the appropriate doses, digestive problems will occur. I would suggest you take a multivitamin with the right blend of vitamins. If you would like to know what I take, send me a message. |

| Too much is not good, your liver has to process this, 500 mg is just fine, 1000 mg will get you to the bathroom, also watch your pee,I can take a guess its bright yellow due to your body is more then likely flushing out the excess. Tone it down. |

| If you are taking calcium supplements, I actually recommend taking 4-5 Tums or Equate brand Tums per day. My rheumatologist says that's all she needs to get her recommended daily amount of calcium. B12 is a good one to get, but as far as Vitamin C goes, I would do that one naturally. Citrus fruits are good for that. You can add a little lemon juice to your water, eat oranges, grapefruits (I think, but I don't like those) and even tomatoes! Also, cantaloupe, strawberries, broccoli, cabbage, kiwi fruit, potatoes and sweet red peppers. |
