Losing weight is not easy, it is a change of life. Diet pills are a waste of money, shakes only make you want more food. There is a new Over the counter pill, Alli that can help you lose weight. It comes with a plan and how to stay on track. It is FDA approved and was just switched to OTC status last year. It helps by blocking fat absorption in your GI tract. It does cost about 90 for the starter pack, but if you need a plan that will help you change your life, that's the way to go. Also talk to the pharmacist and they will be able to help you and keep track of your progress.

Losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the daily calorie needs calculator http://straighthealth.com/pages/tools/caloriecalclb.html This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.Beginners Guide to Dieting - http://straighthealth.com/pages/guides/begdieting.html

dont' take pills or shakes. They don't work. You need to exercise daily for at least 30 minutes. Avoid fried, fatty and sugary foods. Eat fruits, veggies and lean proteins, also low fat dairy.

I lost 15 lbs in one month by drinking 10-12 glasses of water a day, increasing my protein intake [have a high protein breakfast and drink a protein shake immediately after exercising], exercise at least 5 times a week 40-60 minutes, and eat more fruits and vegetables. Drinking alot of water really helps with controlling those hunger urges. I haven't tried any diet pills yet but I heard that Lipodrene does wonders for actually shrinking fat cells. Good luck and I hope this helps a bit!

If you lose these 15 pounds, but gain it back, you are doing nothing. Try only buying healthy foods. Take JuicePlus (yes its a pill, but it has vitamins and more and can really make you eat more fruit). Take a jog, walk the dog, go on a bike ride, plant a garden, shoot some hoops, just be active. Eat healthy! Find recipes for fruit smoothies, make a fruit salad, eat a bagel.
