I need to lose weight and need to lose it very fast. I am like 167 lbs, and want to go down to 145ish. But I am not at all in bad shape, I can run continously for long periods of time, do endurance workouts, strength training ...etc. My ideal plan to first burn fat then add muscle, I need maximize, fat loss, and muscle gain. I am willing to pretty much do anything required, I ve been on a high protein, low carb diet for about 2 weeks, and have been trying my best to eat less than 1500 calories and have lost around 5 pounds but i still need to maximize results. Any suggestion would help. Be specific, what foods, how many days to workout, should I do the weight loss option on the treadmill, or stick to the long cardio workout. Again I need to come down in weight very fast, like 2-3 weeks. thank you

Sounds like it's time to start weight training. Cardio can only take you so far. You need to try mixing up your workouts and trying new stuff to confuse your muscles.Remember....when you do cardio you only burn calories while you're doing it. When you lift weights your body continues to burn calories as your muscle grows, even while you are sleeping! If you're going to do cardio I suggest ditching the treadmill and try spin or some kind of other aerobics class. I LOVE ZUMBA!As far as nutrition....NO SUGAR! Also.....FIBER! And only water for beverages.

i don't really like to chose a particular diet. i find them either very un affective or bad for your health. you should do exercise just about everyday but do some core training three times a week. because you want muscle etc you should eat alot of protein such as chicken and broccoli. don't under eat as this will make you tired and won't let you last the work outs.don't burn your self out. (this is never healthy).drink lots of water when ever you can.bigger lunches and small dinners fit in well together and are good for your digestive system.and never exercise straight after a meal (because you are just using up the energy needed for your digestion)hope this helpz
