| Nike Frees are probably the best kind of shoe to buy on the market. Many many strength and conditioning coaches recommend it because its good for your feet whether running or for everyday use.Oh, and shox r horrible for u |

It's a great shoe but I'm not sure it would be the best option for jogging. The fact that it has less padding than the average sneaker suggests that it may detract from the support you need while running on a hard surface. Also, depending on the amount of jogging you plan to do on average, its durability might be an issue. When buying your shoe, consider how often you run (as in times per week) and how long each run is (as in minutes per run). You say you plan on running distances around 4-6 miles, but if you're planning on adding more mileage in the next few months, try taking that into consideration when buying your shoes. If you run no more than 30 mins per day, no more than 3 days a week, a regular pair of sneakers should be fine for you, especially if you're just starting out. You probably don't need to buy new shoes unless you want to. In fact, what you have now is probably fine . But, if you've been running for a year or more, or find yourself having trouble with injuries (shin splints, knee pain etc), you may want to go ahead and buy a good pair of running shoes. If you intend to run no less than 30 mins/day, 3 or more times a week, it's imperative that you have the right shoes for your foot type.Brooks Glycerin are pretty good. These running shoes feature great support and extra cushioning. They'll last long and are also great for durability. http://about.pricegrabber.com/search_attrib.php/page_id=905/form_keywo rd=brooks+glycerin+men/rd=1/mode=about_runningAnother option is Asics Gel Nimbus. These are some of the best running shoes money can buy when it comes to cushioning. They have good durability too. http://about.pricegrabber.com/search_attrib.php/page_id=905/form_keywo rd=asics+nimbus+men/rd=1/mode=about_runningMizuno Creation also has some great shoe options. These shoes are always rated very high. They have great durability, superb cushioning, and are comfortable while running, whether your run is a few minutes or 26.2 miles. http://about.pricegrabber.com/search_attrib.php/page_id=905/form_keywo rd=mizuno+creation+men/rd=1/mode=about_running(When you buy running shoes, buy them a half size smaller than your normal street shoes.) |
