Many clothing stores sell athletic pants labled "yoga pants." The difference in these pants and normal workout pants, is they are usually made of spandex and fit snuggly. As far as tops, I would reccomend a tight-fitting razorback or tank top. The key to yoga clothes is not to have anything real baggy. Yoga requires a lot of moving around and akward positions, so you don't want to have too much excess materialMost yoga studios don't require you to wear shoes. Some even pefer you don't.

Just wear fitted athletic clothes. They don't have too be made specifically for yoga or pilates. If the clothes are too loose, they can interfere in your practice. Most people don't wear shoes, they are barefoot, but some wear socks. If you really want shoes, some people wear special yoga shoes, but they arent' necessary.

wear "yoga" clothing,,, or work out gear that is "Moisture Wicking" like dry fit or underarmour,,to take away the sweat from your skin,,, some places INSIST you wear shoes (normal runners are fine) and some do not,, just ask for the dress code.. if you have a Winners in your neighbour hood go there, in the active wear dept you can find tons of stuff at 50% what you would normally pay..
