In this society, the terms late and early no longer apply as they did to the the natural planetary cycles. There is a biological connection between daylight hours and sleep cycles of humans, but that has already been so disturbed by artificial lights, night shifts, etc., that NOW we are just doing the best we can with an already messed up situation.Anyway, if you eat at 11 p.m. and then sleep for 8 hour afterwards, as long as you sleep well, it shouldn't affect you any differently than eating at 7 pm and sleeping for 8 hours aftewards. Now, there IS a disclaimer on that: Your evening meal (no matter what time you take it) should be light. This is because digestion IS aided by physical movement, and there is none while you're sleeping. So just try to eat something small and light in the evening and eat a hearty breakfast in the morning. This WILL be better for your health in the long run.Roselle

Thank you, bean, for asking. The reason you usually hear that it's bad to eat late is because most people will tend to add on unneeded excess weight gain after the sun goes down but that's because most people are not active or as active after the sun goes down and therefore most people don't need the extra late evening snacks or meals. It stems from human and hominid and pre-hominid evolution when activities naturally slowed down after sundown, however, if that's the way your modern schedule works then of course there's nothing wrong nor bad about eating during late evening hours. All in all, it's not the time of day whether or not eating can be more harmful or not, it still depends on whether the person is eating a healthy balanced diet in moderate proportions and that's what really counts. If you have a normal body weight for your height then you have nothing to worry about in terms of gaining unnecessary excess weight by eating late at night. Please note, that for some of our human ancestors weight gain was more of a necessity than otherwise, especially when they may have had to travel by foot across expansive deserts to reach more fertile lands on the other side, or to gain weight during times of expected drought to help make it through the drought. In other words excess weight gain is not necessarily a bad thing but whether it's more of a necessity or not depends upon the circumstances involved. In summary, do you have a relatively sane body weight for your size, height, and stature? If so, then you're doing just fine and have nothing to worry about. And again, thank you for asking. Tsark out.

Hi,I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work!A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it. The results were excellent and I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. I felt fantastic and I dropped another 5 pounds safely. That's why I recommend you check this product at http://better-life-thinner.us where they have a free trial and you only pay $4.95 shipping and handling.Good luck!
