I know protein and creatine and good to take for lifters, BUT I am talking about the vitamin isle in Wal Mart. Besides multi vitamins, which I take, what other vitamins or supplements in that isle are good to take if you lift a lot and workout?

You need to take a multivitamin that is well absorbed by the body. Do the reasearch online to find one that is well absorbed by the body and don't just take any old vitamin you see on the shelf. You also need a good antioxidant supplement for you immune system. Otherwise a healthy diet with lots of fresh fruits and veggies with lean cuts of meat is essential.

Take L-Glutamine, at least 1500mg a day. It's a protein sparing amino acid that helps muscles use glucose, and burn fat.$3 bucks at Walmart for 50 of the 500mg tablets.

Some take vitamins from a health food store. They claim they are better. Maybe they are.
