I have not weighed myself in a while. but i'd say i'm around 160 and im 5'10.5" this sounds over weight to me. I hate being the girl who weighs more than the guys even though i look slimmer than what i weigh. I have been doing weight training in school and during the fall season for sports so i think i gained quite a lot of muscle weight....it even shocked my own college football player brother that i actually weighed this much.. i need help! i have much more muscle than fat, but i still have problem areas. i want to be more feminine like my mother who is 125 . I dont eat terribly, but since i eat healthy food, i eat a lot of it! I dont really work out becuase there is no club, but i suppose i could run outside. my mom gave me this CLA supplement.any advice?i didnt mean literally i dont believe in pounds, i just think weighing yourself is an inaccurate measure of your health. i think % body fat is a better idea....im not someone who is going to be like " i wanna lose five lbs" im the kind of person that is like " i want to be healthy and with low amounts of body fat" |

| if you want to lose weight, but not pounds, measure your mass in kilograms instead. |

| I think that's a healthy weight for you, actually. I'm 5'8" and between 145-150, and my doctor told me that's right in the middle of my "healthy weight" range, so I think it's the same for you. Plus, it's even better because you have msucle. It doesn't really matter how much you weigh, just what you look like.(P.S. I'd consider myself slim. I think you're fine.) |

Don't take supplements. Muscle will always weigh more then fat, there's nothing to be done about that. Eat only as much fruits and vegetables that will fill you up, and don't forget that you can eat meat too people tend to over-react on the fruits and vegetables bit. Just make a nice balance of it. If you just have problem areas, then do exercises that target that area. if it's your abdomen, then do crunches. If it's your thighs, then do exercises that will target your thigh-area, etc. |

| I think you should add more cardio to your weight training and do more reps of lower weights. You are right about looking to health and body composition rather than weight; many people these days just don't get that. |

| Muscle definitely weighs more then fat, so if your doing some weight training, you will gain weight...but that is not bad!! As you build your muscles, you gain weight, but at the same time having that muscle built up will continue to burn fat even when you are not exercising. I advise you to ignore the scale and use a measuring tape to track your progress of your fat-loss. Good luck! |

| for that height you are a normal weight person. don't worry about it at all. if you try becoming 125 you will be way way ways too under weight. a lot of it probably is muscle weight but definately run to lose some weight. go on a 2000 calorie diet |

| OMG! I wish I was either one!! 5'10" or 160lbs!! You sound fine to me. But you can check out your Body Mass Index at the Centers for Disease Control"s web site. |

| If you're doing serious weight training, that would explain being heavier than you look. My suggestion is to forget all about it. The actual # of pounds you weigh is totally irrelevant to the shape you're in.Muscle is many times heavier than fat.muscle burns many times the amount of calories when you are ASLEEP, then fat does when you're active, So, forget about how much you "weigh".Keep active and eat right, and you're body will find it's natural balance. Also, I believe that CLA is a type of sunflower seed oil?If I remember correctly, it has a reputation of making things kinda "messy" in you're pants, if you get my drift! LOLgood luck. |
