| Well I'm at least 20 pounds over weight I want to start into a healthy diet again...I'm going from no exercise, drinking sugary juices/soda,and as much food as I can eat... too......20 minutes running on the treadmill(increase moderately), No juice soda,or dairy products...Just water lunch breakfast dinner, and a simple cereal(no milk) in the morning...100 calorie bar and water at lunch..and a normal but less fattening dinner(cut down on the oil, butter, salt etc.)Would this plan work all right and approximately how many pounds would I lose if I follow through with this plan for at least 3 months? Also any suggestions would be great:) ThanksWhat can I add to my diet plan...Be specific |

| well i personally think u are setting urself up for failure by restricting your diet so much..u can lose weight and still be healthy..oatmeal in the morning a fruit for lunch and a turkey breast sandwhich on whole wheat loaded with veggies will be much better for you..also fat free milk is what i drink and i like it..we need the vitamins that natural foods provide.. |

| It will work, but I'd be concerned about your nutrition. I eat all I want and still continue to lose weight simply by eating a nutritious, mostly raw vegetable diet, with some whole grains, fruits, and fish or chicken (for protein). I'm diabetic, so I more or less have to eat this way. If you want more, check out my blog:Here’s all you need to lose weight all over, look good, and get really healthy. First, you have to realize there is no quick, long lasting weight loss plan or pill that is going to do the trick. It’s purely mental. You have to learn to “Eat to live, don’t live to eat”. Sounds simple, doesn’t it? It is, if you understand that you are going to be reprogramming how you think about eating for the next few weeks. Old habits die hard, right? Not really. You get rid of bad habits by replacing them with good habits. If you learn to count your calories, keep calorie intake lower than output, exercise moderately, and eat only healthy food, you will lose weight. That’s a fact. All it takes is repetition. All success stories have this in common: The successful folks among us know how to be patient, persistent, and consistent. Set a goal, write it down, and stick with it. The benefits of feeling good will outweigh any sense of sacrifice you might feel about having to push away that cake and ice cream. | Your plan sounds OK, but i wouldn't go so fast. Quitting cold turkey might actually have withdrawal symptoms. Try to cut down soda's to 1 a day then 4 a week until you can cut them out completely if u want to do that (soda's every once in a while won't kill you). You also need something better for lunch. If you only eat a 100 calorie bar you will want to snack on junk food. For lunch try having a salad and chicken breast (not breaded) with a vinegar dressing (most others have a lot of fat) If you get hungry between meals try eating some nuts (Almonds are good if your not allergic) they are high in protein and they are good! You don't need to drink water all the time, try natural juices (not sugar added ones)Good Luck!!! remember you are beautiful no matter what! |
