Thouroughly stretch your calves before and after you run, and also do slow controlled ankle rotations; rotate your foot in circles. That should loosen the tendons in your lower legs.

Switch to the eliptical machine. It has less impact which may be causing your pain.

Those are called "shin splints" the occur because you are not using the proper running shoe. First, you have to stop running for 4-6 weeks to let then heal. Then, purchase a good pair of padded running shoes and ease back into your treadmill workout. I had them many years ago when I was in the sheriffs academy and we were running 5 or more miles every day. I had a pair of "knock off" running shoes. I contacted a doctor and was told just what I am telling you here. It works, and by doing it, you will prevent more serious and possibly permenent damage.

I came across this great product for weight loss and it was excellent for me. Together with a good diet and exercise I am finally happy with my body and the way I look. You should check this product at http://www.slim-get.info , they have a free trial and you only pay $4.95 shipping and handling. A must!
