What is a good running distance/speed to go on a treadmill for someone keeping in shape for lacrosse?

You will need endurance as well as some sprinting powers right?? Maybe you could try running at around 80-85% of your maximum heart rate, as that's close to the anaerobic threshold.

My lacrosse coach tells us that lacrosse is "the fastest sport on two feet." For a good reason. You gotta learn to sprint for short periods of time, while having the endurance to play an entire game. The most important thing to do is start at a jogging or slow "running" pace, (maybe around 5-5.5 mph,) and do that for about 5 minutes to warm up. From then on, hike up the speed to 7 or 8 mph and sprint for about 45 seconds (depends.) Try this.3 mph Warm-Up Walk--1.5 minutes5-6 mph Jog-- 5 minutes7-8 mph Sprint--45 seconds X4 TIMES3 mph Cooldown Walk--3 minutesShould only take you about a half hour-- and has been proven to work. I've gotten a lot faster by using this strategy--sprinting then jogging increases your speed and endurance. Hope it helps!
