If its dinner then after. Eating before only helps lose ur appetite. If its morning then before and then eat but only in small doses. After is better but not right after let the food digest. I used to have a trainer.

Above are both right. Light snack (fruit or some form of carbs) before for energy during exercise, and healthy meal after. In the process of exercise, your body breaks down cells and builds new ones. That's why working out makes muscles bigger. So you want to eat a good amount of protein after exercise so your body can use it to build muscle. Within one hour of exercise is the best time.

I would say if you havent eaten anything all day to have a small lunch type meal within an hour before working out like a sandwich and a small glass of milk or fruits/veggies like they said, make sure youre hydrated. Afterward when your muscles are surging from working out eat some more serious food like a decent serving of fish or high protein shake(gain weight on shake,, though this could help you lose weight if it helped you curb your meal size) etc . . stay away from red meats if youre tired from working out because that food is the most taxing for your body to digest cannot digest much of it, and it lays diseasing in your intestines for an unbecomeably long time. .. try eating small portioned meals and exercising if you find yourself faint while exercising drink milk .. to lose weight it ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL to get a breakfast in even if its something small. that is the most essential thing to weight loss because it triggers your metabolism to be active early in the day (also try eating smaller portions, no fast foods, eat more lean things like home made cooking, skillet cooked et c, no commercialized food, no red meats) The most important thing for a healthy figure is all natural foods and lots of intense cardio.

Need to eat something before to keep energy up but something substantial after helps prevent cravings and converts the benefit of the exercise. The myth that you burn more fat on a empty stomach turns out not to be true as you can't train as hard without food therefore burn less energy. But eating before exercise can be "messy" have a small meal before training with enough time so you don't feel sick, or exercise between meals to get the best results. With walking though as long as you don't feel sick when you do it, it's OK to do after dinnerBrett http://www.homefitnesstrainer.com.au

It's best to exercise on an empty stomach, so that the energy comes from fat rather than dinner. However, any exercise is good!

Eat less and exercise after. There is nothing to stop you exercising before a meal. The problem is that if you eat too much during the meal, the body stores this as fat if it isn't used up, which is hard to burn upSo, if you eat, then exercise, you are using up the excess energy of the meal before it turns to fat.

My field is in fashion, as a result many people ask me how they can slim down. My answer is always the same: good diet and exercise. But I found this great product which I think helps a lot in the process. I recommend you check this website http://www.healthy-and-thin.us , they have a free trial and you only pay $4.95 shipping and handling. Good luck!
