| The general rule for an active female is about 12 calories per lb of body weight or 25 calories per kg of body weight. This is an approximation, but normally accurate. If your weight goes down increase your calorie intake. Conversely if you weight goes up reduce you calorie intake. Do not do this every day; every other day, at the same time, normally first thing in the morning upon rising and after your comfort stop.Unfortunately our genetics play an important part in how we store and use energy (fat). During your monthly period your hormones which will also have an effect on your body weight. This is a bad time to keep weighing yourself as your weight will be fluctuating.Eat a balanced diet of Protein, Complex carbohydrate, simple carbohydrate (minimal as its sugar) and Fat Unsaturated, polyunsaturated and would you believe saturated. Fat consumption should be no more that 30% of you calorie intake with saturated fat representing 10% of the 30% plus the required amount of minerals. You can still have a good blow out on food and alcohol, but not every day. Watch the alcohol, because it is empty calories |

| A good website to use is weightlossresources.co.uk they help you by telling you how many calories you need to eat to either maintain your weight or lose up to 2lbs a day, you can try out a free 3 day trial it is great cos they have a huge database of food so its really easy to tell it what you eat, and you can also put your exercise in and it will tell you how many calories you've got left for he day. |
