I think cardio & weight training together get the best results. I wouldn't leave any muscule group out. This is a good site, check it out: http://sparkpeople.com/It's free & I know several people that use it & like it. They can even tell you daily exercises to do & plan out your weight loss for you w/ you putting in your information. Lots of luck!

Honey, don't confine yourself to working on just the stomach area. Look for all-over toning exercising like cardio (elliptical training, walking, some weight training). You need to commit yourself to your cause, eat less carbohydrates, and above all, treat yourself well. Accept yourself as who you are and visualize yourself at a smaller size, and all will fall into place.Good luck!

Start with 15 minutes of cardio each day, work yourself up to 30 minutes a day. Also, jogging/running 30 minutes a day will burn lots of calories and fat. Also, tone up using light weights, 3 sets of 20. Make sure you watch your caloric intake as well. Try to stay around 1200-1500 daily plus exercise. A great book for losing weight and healthy eating is "Skinny B*tch" by Rory Freedmon. I read it in a few hours, it is a really good book. Pick it up at places like Target.

i wanted to lose weight also and i learned that all you have to do is watch what you eat... if i wanted to eat alot all in one day then i would just exercise more... that's all you have to do just make sure you dont eat more than you exercise. you dont have to spend a bunch of money on the gym just look up exercise moves on the Internet and do them about 4 times a week. It worked for me you might want to give it a try.... also drink lots of milk.

You don't need to worry about spot weight loss or training- work on a cardio program and weight will begin to come off. Trainers will tell you you can't spot reduce! Talk to a trainer at your gym or "Y" and discuss your goals. Be patient, be positive and BE-Lieve! You can do this! And you'll be proud and motivated as you start to see and feel the changes. GOOD LUCK!

Try eating more fruits and veggies in place of other fatty meals, like junk food, cookies, or high calorie meals. Like most people (I'm guilty sometimes!), you've probably brainwashed yourself into thinking that fast food tastes better than healthy food, but that's not entirely true! Try eating more grapes, clemintines, apples chunks in vanilla yogurt (good for sweet cravings!), blueberries, hummus (it sounds gross but it's really not, especially with Wheat Thins or Food Should Taste Good brand whole grain chips! I personally like garden vegetable or tomato flavored), granola, low-fat yogurt, low-fat string cheese, LITE whole wheat bread, 100 - calorie popcorn / kettle corn bags, steamed broccoli with a buttery garlic sauce etc. I also snack on South Beach Diet oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, they're good AND pretty healthy! And eat SLOWLY. Take one bite at a time, chew completely, then take another bite. If you eat slower, you'll become fuller quicker, and you won't overeat.Incorporate more exercise into your daily life. Take the dog for a 20 minute walk, do jumping jacks while watching TV, do laps around the block, or the house for that matter. Don't let yourself sit down for too long. If you can, get a gym membership. I use an elliptical for 30 minutes 5-6 times a week and it works great for me.And don't eat out of boredom! It's a nasty habit to break, TRUST ME. Whenever you feel like eating, watch a movie with no commercial breaks so you don't have time to get up, call a friend, read a book or magazine, or get out of the house, away from the food. I recently lost weight, about 20 lbs, and what really helped for me was planning my meals. I planned when and what I was going to eat, and made sure the calorie count was 1400. It may be different depending on your needs, but never go under 1200! Whatver you do, don't let yourself stray from your plan. Write it all down or type it out and leave it up on your computer so you don't forget, that's what I do.And don't "DIET". Because the moment you go off your "diet", you'll regain the all the weight you lost quickly, believe me. Instead, make "healthy living choices."You'll never get to your "ideal" body by eating crap food and sitting around, no matter how much you want it to happen. It takes dedication to get the body you want! Make it like a game. How much weight can I lose? Prove it to yourself you DO have the willpower to get what you want. But allow yourself a cheat day every now and then. Life is too short! If you restrict your body of all the "good foods", you will one day EXPLODE and eat everything in sight. Trust me!One more thing: Once you do become thinner, DON'T think you can eat whatever you want now! You'll regain all the weight back, which is absolutely mortifying, especially after all the hard work to lose it.Good luck! Hope that helps (:

You will need to cut carbs and fat from your diet and load up on the protein.Drink lots of water every day at least 32 oz but 60 to 80 oz is great! ie; 4 to 8 bottles or glasses of water every day.So a typical day would go like this;Breakfast: 1 egg or 8 oz hard cheese 1 slice 40 calorie bread or half slice regular bread 1 protein drink (i like Kellogg's) Between breakfast and lunch drink at least 8 oz waterLunch: 4 oz of white meat chicken or tuna fish or 4 oz cottage cheese/ only eat hard cheese once a day 8 oz raw uncooked veggies ( green leafy kind is best) or 4oz cooked veggies****no corn, no potatoes, no carrots**** 1/2 cup of fruit ***no bananas*** 1 protein drinkBetween meals drink at least 8 oz water/ and a protein drink if you want Dinner: 4 oz chicken, turkey, fish or **you can have beef once a week** 8 oz raw uncooked veggies or 4 oz cooked veggies 1 slice of 40 calorie bread or half slice regular bread 1 protein drink or protein bar(protein bars once or twice a week*) Drink more water throughout the evening and take vitamins everyday. This will help you lose fat and keep and tone muscle.

my advise is first and foremost to cleanse. once you cleanse you will feel better then i would no focus on weight loss many times you will lose inches and not lose weight you know the saying muscle weighs more then fat. focus on how you feel and how your clothes fit. once you get in the gym get on the treadmill slightly inclined and walk. theses are baby steps. do it for a pace that is good for you for 30 MIN get to your ideal heartrate based on your weight. then right the bike at a rate that is good for you for 30 min. as the weeks go on you will be able to ride and walk longer most important dont give up and dont let the scale run you. you can do this!!!! someone once told me for quick weight loss drink half you weight in oz of water per it will assist with the cleanse and keep you hydrated. YOU GO AND LET YOUR HATERS BE YOUR MOTIVATION. AS FAR AS DIET NO SODA OR HIGH SUGAR ENERGY DRINKS THEY ARE WASTED CALORIES IF YOU DRINK OR EAT FOOD WITH HIGH YEAST CUT IT OUT. ONCE AGAIN YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
