Im 5'5..150 lbs?! I want to lose atleast 15!?

I have a very odd body, if you looked at me from my ribs up, I look like i should be super skinny and thin, but i feel like all my fat goes to my tummy and thighs. I tryed the south beach diet, and it just got too hard after 2 weeks. I can't go without carbs. My dream goal would be achieving this weight loss in 6 weeks. I know its not "healthy" to lose more than 2 lbs a week, but i know a lot of this weight is just coming on from the wrong foods and little excercise. What would you suggest is a good calorie intake a day for me? What about breakfast, lunch, dinner? Do you really lose a lot of weight if you drink a lot of water? Is cardio better to lose weight, or strength training and lifting? I want to be able to throw OUT my scale for my new years resolution! not start dreading it more and more! =)

SOUTH BEACH: easy, simple, tastes delicous, not lots of excersizeps: dont worry i dont work for south beach diet co.

You tend to lose more weight when you drink more water because your stomach is full.To me it doesn't sound as if you really need to lose any weight. Perhaps you should try toning your muscles instead. Focusing on your thighs if that's where you dislike the most.I try to keep each of my meals under 200 calories, but I snack in between which I also keep under 200 calories. Of course you can't do this for all meals. Things would start to get tasteless and boring. And nothing screws up a diet like boring food.The glass of water things works. Drink a glass before you eat [8 oz]. It fills up your stomach so that you don't eat too much. You, also, shouldn't eat until you're completely full. Your stomach will settle after a little while [no more the 30 mins] and you'll realize you didn't need that little bit of extra food you were going for.Remember, though, to always be happy with who you are. Walking and doing housework is the best exercise for losing fat and ensure that your diet does not include any high calorie foods. Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. From http://myweight.info
