I'll try to keep this short as possible! I'm fourteen. I've recently tried to become more healthy and exercise. I've also cut out a lot of chocolate and sweets as I fear I have diabetes (I used to eat loads of chocolate a day, about 6 bars). I don't think I'm what you call 'fat' because I'm 5'4 and about 106lb so that's 7st 8lb. But anyways, I've lost about 10lb in the last few weeks by exercising.I did about 600 star jumps and 100 sit ups for about 10 days thinking I hadn't lost a lot of weight and went on holiday. I only went swimming and that's all the exercise I did, apart from walking. I ate pretty much what I wanted but didn't eat a lot since I was busy a lot of the time.Came back, weighed myself and looked at the scales. 7st8 it read. I was 8st4 before. So now, Iv'e kept on exercising a lot. Should I continue or what? Every time I put the music channels on I can't stop myself from exercising and doing 100 star jumps to a song I like. I then look forward to when my Mum and Dad go out on a night so I can exercise in the sitting room with music on. I feel obsessed, it's all I think about. I actually feel fat and big if I don't. I've also got stretch marks on my legs and bum off where I gained weight a few month ago as I was quite thin, they seem to be kinda going away. Will they go away more if I loose more weight? What's your whole view on it all? Thanksxoxo

people say exercise is an addiction, which is okay because it's a good addiction.HOWEVER, the "obsession" to lose weight, feeling fat, etc. are not healthy.it is good you are cutting down on chocolate and exercising... but don't focus so much on losing pounds and such. just exercise a regular amount everyday, just to stay healthy. check your BMI on a BMI index to make sure you're healthy weight, im pretty sure you are.however your obsession does look like it can turn into an eating disorder, so google the symptoms and signs of anorexia and bulimia and see if you fit the signs.
